On 2 December 2025, the COGEN World Coalition (CWC) hosted a webinar to launch its latest report, “CHP – A Key Enabling Technology for Ensuring Data Centre Development is Efficient, Cost-Effective and Resilient.”
With global demand for data centres continuing to rise, the session underscored the increasing importance of energy solutions that deliver reliability, sustainability and cost-effectiveness. Presenters outlined the report’s principal findings and discussed how Combined Heat and Power (CHP) can play a pivotal role in supporting the future development of the data centre sector.
The webinar also featured a series of case studies, highlighting practical examples of CHP deployment and demonstrating its value in real-world data centre operations.
